DX.157 Architrave Moulding
The Orac DX157 plain architrave is 6.5cm wide with a 1.3cm projection design, perfect for use as a door surround especially suited to modern architect designed properties. Customers seeking clean straight lines and a minimum of fussy detail will find this can also work well as a skirting board. Each DX157 is 2.3 metres long and has been designed with an inner recess, which can be used to hide wiring.

Every length of DX157 architrave has an undercoat pre-painted, leaving you with a one coat finish after installation. Our plain DX157 architectural moulding can add a touch of class to any domestic residence, hotel or restaurant. Choose the DX157 to set your room apart, and create a contemporary space whilst avoid cheap carcinogenic MDF alternatives. Each 2.3 metre section is made from easy to install lightweight duropolymer and has a coat of primer applied in the factory to save you time when decorating. This popular architrave can be easily cut with a fine toothed rigid blade saw, and will look particularly impressive where mitre cuts are joined around areas such as chimney breasts. For optimum results select our FB13 mitre box which has a broad enough aperture for cutting this profile. If you prefer simple elegant lines you may find our R40 ceiling rose and R09 ceiling medallion an attractive alternative to boring plastic light pendants.
