Skirting Board Lighting
IL003-011 LED Skirting Board Lighting - Orac have always lead the way when it comes to style and innovation. They have just moved the game on one step further by introducing a neat 12 volt LED lighting
system which can be used in conjunction with Orac skirting boards, and larger coving profiles.
The neat little circular inserts have a 4cm diameter and are supplied in a kit with 5 lights and extension cables, and convertor. Decorating your skirting needn't be a problem as we supply an easily used cover to stop paint from covering the lens. Larger rooms will require the IL003-012 transformer which can be used in conjunction with up to 20 lamps.
Choose the IL003-011 Orac LED lighting system where ever low level background lighting is required. Ideal applications are skirtings to landings, children's bedrooms, or even as downlighters
mounted inside our larger coving profiles.
The system is designed for background light only, and is not intended as a primary light source. Use of our LED lights in conjunction with the following Orac interior mouldings;
Skirting Boards - SX104, SX105, SX118, SX137, SX138, SX156

Advantages of Orac Decor Skirting Lighting
Orac Decor skirting board is installed in many exclusive worldwide developments. Examples include The Savoy, Hilton and Intercontinental. 60%
of European continental builders now specify products which Orac Decor manufacturers and they are increasingly being used in the UK.
Ready for immediate use: Orac Decor skirting board lighting is available from stock for next day delivery. Wood skirting board needs knotting,
sanding, priming and undercoat before installing.
Clean: Orac Decor skirting board lighting only requires glue, perfect for refurbishment and new build projects. Wood skirting board is dirty to
install, creating considerable amounts of dust. Refurbishments using wood skirting board can problematic and damage the existing infrastructure.
Easy to install skirting lighting: Orac Decor skirting board lighting due to its lightweight only requires glue to install; there is no need to pin
as with wood skirting board. Due to its lightweight and not requiring nails, Orac Decor skirting board lighting can be installed on to any type of floor, including
partitions and board.
Time saving: Orac Decor skirting board lighting can be installed much faster and easier, whereas installing wood skirting board lighting can be a
difficult job which takes time and additional skills.
Fast finishing: Orac Decor skirting board is pre-primed ready for the chosen final coat of paint. Orac Decor skirting board has a smooth surface
and does not absorb paint, so only the final coat is required. Wood skirting board does not come sanded, knotted, primed or with undercoat.
Strong & shock resistant: Orac Decor skirting board is tough, hard and difficult to break.
Developing cracks: Orac Decor 'Extra Fix' fuses the skirting board joints to produce strong joints. Wood skirting board joints move through drying
and aging resulting in cracks in the skirting board joints.
'Flexi' skirting board for curved walls: Orac Decor 'Flexi' skirting board lighting is a standard product, using the same moulds as
the rigid range, but with a rubberised material. Orac Decor Rigid and Flexible skirting board lighting can be used in conjunction providing an excellent solution to
rooms with a curved bay. Wood skirting board lighting requires an onsite expert for installation of skirting board on curved walls.
Cabling: The void behind some of the skirting board designs hides the cabling.
Lights: The skirting lights simply slot into holes, cut where needed.
