The CX136 is very lightweight and needs a minimal amount of adhesive to stick it to the ceiling, and should not require pins or nails whilst curing. The Orac Axxent duropolymer cornice range is widely used by tradesmen throughout Europe, where it has become established as the first choice in modern homes. Installation of the CX.136 rope effect cornice is simple, requiring a few tools such as a rigid blade saw, mitre box and sandpaper. This cornice product comes pre-coated with primer and will accept any quality brand of gloss or matt paint to produce a perfect finish. Ideal for lounge cornice and dining room cornice.

Orac CX136 cornice or coving is one of House Martin Interiors Orac cornice mouldings. Supplied in 2m lengths this profile is 7 x 7cm with the diagonal of 10cm. A concave cornice with a convex base and line detailing top and bottom. This CX136 cornice is essentially the same profile as the CX100 cornice, but with twisted rope detailing. The CX136 cornice was designed for smaller to normal room sizes and lower to normal ceiling heights.
If a larger cornice is wanted to be used in conjunction consider the CX127 cornice, which is the same shape without the cornice rope detailing. A cost effective cornice with significantly more decoration than many cornice mouldings of this size. The design of this cornice reflects that usually found in larger more ornate cornice. Many rooms situations are suitable for this cornice; entrance way cornice, hall cornice, bedroom cornice, study cornice, kitchen cornice, dining room cornice and lounge cornice.
Many of House Martin Orac mouldings can be used with the CX136 cornice. The SX122 skirting board, SX137 skirting board, SX138 skirting board, especially the PX131 twisted rope design dado panel moulding, PX103 dado panel moulding and PX113 dado panel moulding and the PX120 dado panel moulding. However many other mouldings can be used, it is just a case of individual choice.
