This lightweight coving is a popular choice with both DIY and professional cornice installers. Unlike many cheap Far Easter imports the material in no way resembles the foam packaging used by the take-away food industry. Instead this Orac Axxent Duroploymer material has good detailing, tough construction and also benefits from an undercoat which has been applied in the factory - to save you time. The 95 x 95mm CX.127 cornice design is similar to the smaller CX100 coving listed elsewhere, but has a larger corner coverage of over 5 inches when measured diagonally. The material is lightweight, and should be treated in much the same way as wood. Use a rigid blade saw, mitre box for corner details, but unlike wood there is no need to worry about resin rising out of knots and spoiling the finish. Even sticking the product to your wall and ceiling is easy if you select our specially formulated FDP500 adhesive, and apply a few panel pins for support whilst the adhesive cures. We also recommend FX210 adhesive to joints and mitres (especially in rooms with big temperature variations). Ideal for kitchen coving and lounge coving.

Orac CX127 cornice or coving is a House Martin Interiors best selling design of cornice. The new 2.6m cornice length option is now available with the standard 2m cornice length. The 2.6m length of cornice is only available in the Orac Axxent range and is the result of popular demand. The CX127 cornice is a competitively priced cornice compared to equivalent size and designs of cornice from other manufacturers. A classic, traditional and elegant cornice which is suitable for many room and house styles. This cornice measures 9.5cm x 9.5cm, with a diagonal of 13.4cm. A coving cornice, with convex base and line detailing at the top and bottom.
The CX127 cornice can used with CX128 egg and dart cornice and CX129 dentil cornice in different rooms as it is the same shape, but with different detailing. Standard or normal ceiling heights and normal to larger rooms are suitable for this design of cornice. For lower ceilings it is usual to use a smaller cornice because of the visual impression and for taller ceilings a larger cornice. Perfect for hall cornice, dining room cornice and lounge cornice. A cornice design that can be used throughout the home.
There is a large range of complementary mouldings which can be used with the CX127 cornice. The SX118 skirting board, SX122 skirting board, SX137 skirting board, SX138 skirting board, PX103 dado panel moulding, PX113 dado panel moulding, PX114 dado panel moulding, PX 144 dado panel moulding and the PX120 dado panel moulding. The PX103 and PX120 dado panel mouldings have a matching curve option to create panels and steps in position.
