As moulding suppliers to retail and trade since 2002 we have plenty of experience with interior decoration, both trade and retail customers find our lightweight materials are quicker and easier to install than traditional heavy plaster alternatives. The CX107 is lightweight coving with a small dentil relief needing a minimal amount of adhesive to stick it to the ceiling and wall, and should not require pins or nails whilst curing. The Orac Axxent duropolymer coving range is widely used by craftsmen throughout Europe, where it has become established as the first choice in modern rooms. Installation of the CX.107 cornice is simple, requiring a few tools such as a rigid blade saw, mitre box and sandpaper. This coving product comes pre-coated with primer and will accept any quality brand of gloss or matt paint to produce a perfect finish. If you like the CX106 design but want to try something grander in your lounge or hallway this design will compliment it beautifully, as it is basically the same shape with a moulded dentil pattern embossed into the design. Ideal for Victorian coving and Edwardian coving.

Orac CX107 cornice or coving is a House Martin Interiors Orac cornice. Supplied in 2m lengths the CX107 cornice profile is 12 x 12cm, with a diagonal of 17cm. This cornice is essentially the same profile as CX106 cornice, but with dentil detailing. A smaller version of the CX107 cornice is the CX129 cornice. This is a concave cornice with line detailing at the top and stepped base with line and dentil detailing to finish. In classical architecture a dentil is a small block used as a repeating ornament in the bed-mould of a cornice. The dentil represents the end of a rafter. This style was commonly used in Edwardian cornice and Victorian cornice.
The CX107 cornice is a classic cornice suitable for a range of room and home styles and very cost effective for this size and detailing of coving cornice. Normal to higher ceiling height for this cornice is ideal. Taller ceilings may need a larger cornice due to the visual effect resulting from distance, whilst lower ceilings a smaller cornice. The CX107 cornice is great for installing as entrance way cornice, hall cornice, dining room cornice and lounge cornice. The different sizes of the CX107 cornice and smaller CX129 cornice can be used in varying size rooms, but keeping the same design of cornice throughout the house.
Complimentary mouldings can be used with the CX107 cornice. Consider the SX137 skirting board, SX138 skirting board, SX118 skirting board, PX103 dado rail, PX113 dado rail and PX120 dado rail, although there are many more.
