CX.106 Oxford Coving
The CX.106 120 x 120mm coving is consistently popular, and offers smart modern lines at an affordable price. Although the CX106 coving was only launched in 2002 it now outsells every product in our cornice range. This coving design can look particularly attractive when combined with our Axxent panel mouldings. This coving style is ideally suited to larger rooms. The additional line gives strong design impact. Sharp details, easy installation, lightweight, tough, already primed and easy to finish with just one coat of matt or gloss paint.

As coving and cornice suppliers to retail and trade for many years we are occasionally asked for plaster and gypsum alternatives, but our lightweight materials are both quicker and easier to install. CX106 coving is lightweight and needs a minimal amount of adhesive to stick to a ceiling, and should not require many pins or nails whilst curing. The Orac Axxent duropolymer coving range is widely used by craftsmen throughout Europe, where it has become established as the first choice in modern rooms. Installation of the CX.106 cornice is simple, requiring a few tools such as a rigid blade saw, mitre box and sandpaper. This coving product comes pre-coated with primer and will accept any quality brand of gloss or matt paint to produce a perfect finish. Ideal for hall coving and lounge coving.

Orac CX106 cornice or coving is a House Martin Interiors best seller. There is the option of either a 2m cornice length or the new 2.6m cornice length. The 2.6m lengths are only available in the Orac Axxent cornice range. For an equivalent cornice design, the CX106 is one of the most competitive cornices available. The CX106 cornice has a profile of 12 x 12cm and a diagonal of 17cm. It is a concave cornice with extended stepped base and line detailing top and bottom.
Although not exactly the same design the CX106 cornice has similar, smaller cornice designs in the CX127 cornice and CX100 cornice. This may be relevant if different sizes are required for different rooms. The CX106 cornice is a classic cornice suitable for a range of room and home styles. Normal to larger ceiling height for this cornice is best. Taller ceilings may need a larger cornice due to the visual effect of height, whilst lower ceilings a smaller cornice. The CX106 cornice is ideal for hall cornice, dining room cornice and lounge cornice.
A range of complimentary mouldings can be used with the CX106 cornice. Consider in particular the SX137 skirting board, SX138 skirting board, SX118 skirting board, PX103 dado rail, PX113 dado rail and PX120 dado rail.
