CX100 coving is lightweight and needs a minimal amount of adhesive to stick to a ceiling, and only requires a few pins or nails whilst curing. The Orac Axxent duropolymer coving range is widely used by tradesmen throughout Europe, where it has become established as the first choice in modern homes. Installation of the CX.100 cornice is simple, requiring a few tools such as a rigid blade saw, mitre box and sandpaper. This coving product comes pre-coated with primer and will accept any quality brand of gloss or matt paint to produce a perfect finish. Ideal for hall coving and stairs coving.

The Orac CX100 cornice or coving is one of House Martin Interiors best sellers. CX100 cornice is now available in both a 2m cornice length and a new 2.6m cornice length. The 2.6m lengths are unique to the Orac Axxent cornice range. The pricing of CX100 cornice is now one of the most competitive cornices compared to equivalent designs of cornice available elsewhere. The CX100 cornice has a profile of 7 x 7cm with a diagonal of 9.9cm. This is a classic cornice design suitable for both modern and traditional homes. The styling is of a concave cornice with line detailing at the top and sculptured convex base with similar line detail to finish. Normal to lower ceiling heights for this design of cornice is preferable. Particularly suitable for bedroom cornice, hallway cornice, kitchen cornice and cornice for flats.
For taller ceilings a larger cornice would be better due to the visual effect of distance. The CX127 cornice is a larger cornice with a 13.4cm diagonal and the CX106 cornice larger still with a 17cm diagonal; although with the CX106 cornice the styling changes more. If a smaller cornice in this style is wanted, for example as bathroom cornice, consider the CX124 cornice with its 7.1cm diagonal. The best cornice for the upstairs may be smaller as the ceiling height may be lower.
A wide range of mouldings can be used with the CX100 cornice. Consider the SX125 skirting board, the SX137 skirting board and the SX118 skirting board. Also the PX103 dado panel rail, the PX113 dado rail and the PX120 dado rail.
