C.900 Amsterdam Coving
An uplighter trough type cornice moulding, C.900 can be used to create background or "mood" lighting. This coving design is particularly popular with the restaurant & hotel trade. This coving moulding should be mounted at least 14 cm below the ceiling if lighting components are utilised. Choose the IL100 and IL110 socket & lamp sets separately if mood lighting is required. If you are using this cornice as an uplighter a separate transformer is needed for every 2 metre section. These are readily available at electrical factors, and should be installed by an approved NICEIC electrical contractor.

Orac Decor C900 coving has been a firm favourite for over 10 years now. The cup shaped profile has been designed to reflect light off of the ceiling and create a pleasant warmth to any room. Our most consistent purchasers of this type of coving are restraunteurs, and home cinema enthusiasts. If you are looking to create mood lighting ensure each 2 metre length has adequate space to allow an easy change of bulbs. The uplighter coving can look equally attractive if used without light fittings, although in these instances it is usually placed flush to the ceiling. Almost our entire range is suitable for installation by a competent DIY enthusiast or general builder, but the C900 coving design should always be mechanically fixed if being used in an uplighter capacity, and any electrical work must be by a registered and approved electrical contractor. Please note that due to the unsupported nature of the forward part of each uplighter coving profile we cannot offer a flexible version of this coving design. Ideal for lounge coving and dining room coving.
