KI.8H Ionic Half Column
The Orac Luxxus KI8H Ionic half column is often chosen for installation under pre-existing entrance canopies. The fluted half column sections can be wrapped around a central support (steel or timber) to give the effect of a complete Ionic column. The joint line made by the two halves meeting is neatly disguised by the projecting flutes. If customers are at all unsure about this procedure, then a final coat of a stipple like, or Sandtex type of paint should make for an invisible join.

Each KI8H half column is manufactured in a lightweight easily installed polyurethane material. All Orac columns leave the factory with a white undercoat pre-applied, and the man made material will not soak up paint like heavy plaster alternatives. So after the adhesives have set installers are left with just one coat of matt or gloss paint to create the perfect finish.
