KI.8 Ionic Column
The Orac Luxxus KI8 column presents interior designers with a bold architectural statement, suitable for ostentatious buildings. Properties with ample floor space and high ceilings may utilise the KI8 pillar to create a decorative entrance feature. This product is available in half column format as KI8H.
Should the 2745 mm high Ionic column appear too tall simply trim the base, and reduce the height to suit. In our experience the octagonal column plinth can easily be trimmed up to 250mm without spoiling the overall appearance. Each KI8 fluted full column is manufactured from 3 sections, the Ionic capital, fluted shaft, and plinth. These are supplied in a base coat, and can be decorated after installation to create a stone, timber or marble effect. If the trickier painted styles appear you may find professional Dulux decorators worth employing. Your local trade centre can advise on their qualified professionals.
