KI.4 Ionic Column

The Orac KI4 Ionic column is an imposing design, particularly suitable for creating a powerful statement on the front of larger properties. The familiar ram's horn Ionic detailing sets off the capital, whilst the 300mm shaft gives an impression of solidity. An eight sided plinth at the base is 575mm high, although this can be trimmed on site if a lower overall height is required.

When using KI4 pillars underneath a portico or canopy please ensure that there is either a structural steel, or tanalised timber incorporated inside. All Orac columns are decorative, and are not designed to take loading from other structures. Each KI4 is fabricated in a lightweight polyurethane material and is pre-painted with undercoat. When installed simply add a good quality paint to finish.

If your project is an external renovation it is possible to use 2 x KI4H half columns back to back to create a full KI4 column. This is particularly useful when cloaking solid but unsightly steel supports. Nationwide column delivery is offered free of charge, whether you require pillars in Berkemstead or Ormskirk.
