Should the overall height be slightly more than you require you may consider the shorter KI1H column which sits on a round base, or just trim the 570 mm high plinth to create the correct overall height. Used externally to embellish a building please ensure the columns are used to shroud steel or tanalised timber supports. The KI2H columns are purely decorative, and not designed for structural use. Used as a column in hotels, restaurants or high class homes the Ionic capital with it's egg and dart detailing works well with our C302 egg and dart coving.
