KI.2 Ionic Column
The Orac KI2 column features an Ionic capital, plain shaft and square base. The Ionic column can be in exterior and interior applications. With a total height of 2705mm this column design is particularly suitable for use under high canopies, or entrances approached from upward sloping driveway. In addition we have supplied this column style to casinos and hotels.

Should the overall height be slightly more than you require you may consider the shorter KI1 column which sits on a round base, or just trim the 570 mm high plinth to create the correct overall height. Used externally to embellish a building please ensure the columns are used to shroud steel or tanalised timber supports. The KI2 columns are purely decorative, and not designed for structural use. Used as a column in hotels, restaurants or high class homes the Ionic capital with it's egg and dart detailing works well with our C302 egg and dart coving.
